Marketplace Sourcing Lifecycle Overview¶
Executive Summary¶
The Marketplace Sourcing Lifecycle Overview defines the operating path for finding, comparing, selecting, onboarding, and learning from suppliers and service providers across bid preparation and contract delivery.
Why This Exists¶
Supplier and provider sourcing is a continuous operating lifecycle. Customers need visibility into marketplace search, provider matches, quotes, verification display, response time, previous contracts, ratings, reviews, preferred supplier status, and performance outcomes.
Owner¶
The owner is the Chief Product Officer and Enterprise Architect. Supplier Marketplace coordinates the lifecycle, with supporting Practices contributing within their ownership boundaries.
Business Value¶
The lifecycle improves sourcing quality, reduces provider selection risk, improves response discipline, supports bid and contract readiness, and turns supplier experience into reusable organizational learning.
