This document defines the lifecycle of a Digital Professional.
Owner¶
The owner is the Chief Product Officer and Enterprise Architect.
Business Value¶
Lifecycle control ensures Digital Professionals are designed, tested, governed, reviewed, and improved before operating with higher autonomy.
Lifecycle States¶

| Draft | Profile, Practice alignment, capabilities, and guardrails are being defined. |
| Pilot | Professional is tested in limited workflows with close review. |
| Operational | Professional executes approved workflows under defined SOPs and authority. |
| Optimized | Professional is improved through KPI review and feedback. |
| AI-Augmented | Professional uses advanced reasoning, memory, and tools under guardrails. |
| Autonomous | Professional executes defined workflows with high autonomy, auditability, and human override. |

Each transition must review authority, tool access, memory access, SOP coverage, KPI performance, risk, auditability, and human approval points.
