This document defines the future evolution path for Forge.

The owner is the Chief Product Officer and Enterprise Architect.
Evolution Path¶

| Optimized | Forge improves through KPI review and feedback. |
| AI-Augmented | Forge uses advanced reasoning, memory, and tools under guardrails. |
| Autonomous | Forge executes defined low-risk workflows with auditability and human override. |
Future Guardrail¶
Greater autonomy must not weaken domain ownership, Practice accountability, Intelligence governance, or human approval for high-impact decisions.
