Why This Exists¶
This document defines the lifecycle of a contract workspace.
Owner¶
The owner is the Chief Product Officer and Enterprise Architect.
Business Value¶
Lifecycle clarity helps customers manage awarded work from contract creation through delivery, financial tracking, closeout, and learning.
Lifecycle States¶
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Created | Contract workspace created after award or creation event. |
| Planning | Delivery plan, milestones, deliverables, and risks are being defined. |
| Active | Contract delivery is underway. |
| At Risk | Delivery, financial, supplier, or schedule risk is active. |
| Variation Review | Scope, cost, or schedule change is under review. |
| Delivery Complete | Deliverables are complete pending closeout. |
| Closeout In Progress | Final checks, payments, documentation, and lessons are being completed. |
| Closed | Contract is closed. |
| Archived | Contract retained for history and learning. |
