Example 1: Cleaning Contract Delivery¶
A cleaning bid is awarded.
Contract behavior:
- Creates Contract Workspace from award event.
- Defines monthly milestones and service deliverables.
- Tracks invoices and payments.
- Monitors performance and risks.
- Captures closeout and lessons.
Example 2: Construction Contract With Variations¶
A construction contract has scope changes.
Contract behavior:
- Tracks deliverables and milestones.
- Creates Variation records for changes.
- Assesses cost and schedule impact.
- Coordinates supplier inputs.
- Updates risk and performance state.
Example 3: Supplier-Dependent Delivery¶
Contract delivery depends on a supplier.
Contract behavior:
- Records supplier coordination actions.
- Tracks supplier-related risks.
- Keeps contract state in Contract Domain.
- References Supplier or Marketplace records without owning them.
Example 4: Invoice Payment Delay¶
An invoice is issued but payment is delayed.
Contract behavior:
- Records invoice and payment state.
- Raises payment risk.
- Notifies relevant stakeholders.
- May inform Funding but does not transfer ownership of funding state.

After closeout, delivery lessons are captured.

- Records performance issues and success factors.
- Captures lessons learned.
- Publishes events for Intelligence, Learning, Analytics, and Organizational Memory.
