Intelligence Domain Vision¶
Why This Exists¶
This document defines the long-term vision for the Intelligence Domain.
Algosure Intelligence is the cognitive operating layer of the Digital Procurement Company. It coordinates Digital Professionals, reasons over domain context, learns from events, and supports executable procurement work with human approval and auditability.
Owner¶
The owner is the Chief Product Officer and Enterprise Architect.
The owner is accountable for ensuring intelligence remains business-first, explainable, governed, and aligned with Domain-Driven Design.
Business Value¶
The Intelligence Domain enables Algosure to provide procurement work that is context-aware, coordinated, memory-backed, explainable, and continuously improving.
Vision Statement¶
The Intelligence Domain will become the governed cognitive architecture of Algosure: an enterprise-grade intelligence layer that allows each customer's Digital Procurement Company to reason, coordinate, execute, remember, explain, and improve procurement work.
Algosure Intelligence¶
Algosure Intelligence is not a standalone chatbot or model wrapper.
It is the governed intelligence capability that:
- Uses domain language.
- Reads Organization context.
- Coordinates Digital Professionals.
- Applies reasoning frameworks.
- Emits and consumes events.
- Invokes executable workflows.
- Preserves memory.
- Produces explainable recommendations.
- Enforces approval guardrails.
- Records audit trails.
From AI Assistant To Cognitive Architecture¶
The Intelligence Domain evolves through stages:
| Stage | Description |
|---|---|
| Assisted intelligence | AI supports individual tasks with human review. |
| Coordinated intelligence | Digital Professionals collaborate around domain events and shared context. |
| Memory-backed intelligence | AI Memory and Organization Intelligence Graph improve reasoning. |
| Executable intelligence | Reasoning triggers governed workflows through the Procurement Execution Engine. |
| Learning intelligence | Outcomes update memory, confidence models, SOP recommendations, and future behavior. |
Organization Intelligence Graph Usage¶
The first intelligence dependency is the Organization Domain.
The Organization Intelligence Graph supplies customer business context:
- Who the organization is.
- What it can do.
- What it has done before.
- What evidence it holds.
- What it prefers.
- What risks and gaps exist.
Intelligence uses this graph to reason about opportunity fit, compliance readiness, proposal evidence, supplier suitability, funding context, and learning needs.
AI Memory¶
AI Memory records reasoning context and intelligence history.
It may include:
- Reasoning traces.
- Recommendation history.
- Confidence scores.
- Human approvals or rejections.
- Guardrail outcomes.
- Event-derived insights.
- Learning feedback.
AI Memory must respect domain ownership. It may remember that Organization facts were used, but Organization remains the source of truth for those facts.
Human Approval Guardrails¶
Humans lead the Digital Procurement Company.
The Intelligence Domain must distinguish between:
- AI observations.
- AI recommendations.
- AI-generated drafts.
- AI-triggered workflow requests.
- Human-approved actions.
- Automated actions within approved guardrails.
Critical procurement decisions require explicit human approval unless a later approved policy defines safe automation boundaries.
Future Evolution¶
Future evolution may include:
- Multi-professional orchestration across Practices.
- Domain-specific reasoning frameworks.
- Confidence calibration by capability and domain.
- Event-driven learning loops.
- Explainability views for customers and administrators.
- AI audit trails for compliance and governance.
- Procurement Execution Engine integration for workflow execution.
Guardrail¶
The Intelligence Domain must not become a shadow owner of business data. It reasons over domain facts, coordinates work, and records intelligence context, but source facts remain owned by their domains.
