This document defines the tender opportunity lifecycle.

Owner

The owner is the Chief Product Officer and Enterprise Architect.

Business Value

Lifecycle clarity helps customers track opportunities from discovery through recommendation and handoff without confusing Opportunity work with Proposal execution.

Lifecycle States

State Meaning
Discovered Tender found from a source.
Indexed Tender record and documents are indexed.
Matched Tender matched to an Organization.
Watching Tender is monitored through watchlist or customer interest.
Saved Tender saved into customer pipeline.
Qualification In Progress Eligibility, fit, readiness, risk, and effort are being assessed.
Qualified Tender is suitable for consideration.
Not Qualified Tender is not suitable or eligible.
Recommended Bid Recommendation indicates bid.
Recommended No-Bid Recommendation indicates no-bid.
Handed Off Qualified opportunity is handed to Proposal or Bid Domain.
Closed Tender is no longer active for the customer.
