Why This Exists¶
This document defines the tender opportunity lifecycle.
Owner¶
The owner is the Chief Product Officer and Enterprise Architect.
Business Value¶
Lifecycle clarity helps customers track opportunities from discovery through recommendation and handoff without confusing Opportunity work with Proposal execution.
Lifecycle States¶
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Discovered | Tender found from a source. |
| Indexed | Tender record and documents are indexed. |
| Matched | Tender matched to an Organization. |
| Watching | Tender is monitored through watchlist or customer interest. |
| Saved | Tender saved into customer pipeline. |
| Qualification In Progress | Eligibility, fit, readiness, risk, and effort are being assessed. |
| Qualified | Tender is suitable for consideration. |
| Not Qualified | Tender is not suitable or eligible. |
| Recommended Bid | Recommendation indicates bid. |
| Recommended No-Bid | Recommendation indicates no-bid. |
| Handed Off | Qualified opportunity is handed to Proposal or Bid Domain. |
| Closed | Tender is no longer active for the customer. |
