Why This Exists

This document defines lifecycle states for marketplace listings and marketplace request workflows.

Owner

The owner is the Chief Product Officer and Enterprise Architect.

Business Value

Lifecycle clarity makes listing publication, visibility, quote requests, support requests, and marketplace interactions governable.

Listing Lifecycle

State	Meaning
Draft	Listing is being prepared.
Under Review	Listing requires review before publication.
Published	Listing is visible according to visibility rules.
Limited Visibility	Listing is visible only in restricted contexts.
Suspended	Listing is hidden due to governance or quality issue.
Archived	Listing retained for history only.

Request Lifecycle

State	Meaning
Draft	Request is being prepared.
Sent	Request has been sent to provider.
Responded	Provider responded.
Accepted	Customer accepted response or next step.
Declined	Request was declined.
Closed	Request workflow completed.

Listing visibility and request workflow state are Marketplace-owned even when provider performance or funding decision data is owned by another domain.
