Marketplace Domain Vision¶
Why This Exists¶
This document defines the long-term vision for the Marketplace Domain.
The Marketplace Domain exists so each customer's Digital Procurement Company can discover external capability, support, expertise, funding, insurance, equipment, fleet, professional services, and technology partners when procurement work requires help beyond the customer's internal capacity.
Owner¶
The owner is the Chief Product Officer and Enterprise Architect.
Business Value¶
The Marketplace Domain creates value by connecting procurement needs to relevant providers through governed listings, search, category browsing, matching, visibility, quote requests, and workflow tracking.
Vision Statement¶
The Marketplace Domain will become the governed provider discovery and request layer of Algosure: a marketplace where procurement needs can be matched to trusted providers while preserving clear ownership of supplier performance, funding decisions, organization facts, and contract delivery state.
