Bid Domain Vision¶
Why This Exists¶
This document defines the long-term vision for the Bid Domain.
The Bid Domain exists to make bid preparation a disciplined, collaborative, evidence-backed, approval-driven, and learning-oriented process inside the Digital Procurement Company.
Owner¶
The owner is the Chief Product Officer and Enterprise Architect.
Business Value¶
The Bid Domain creates value by improving bid execution quality, deadline reliability, proposal consistency, compliance alignment, pricing coordination, submission readiness, and post-outcome learning.
Vision Statement¶
The Bid Domain will become the Proposal Studio and War Room execution layer of Algosure: a governed workspace where Digital Professionals and humans coordinate every bid from pursue decision to submission outcome.
From Ad Hoc Bid Work To Governed Bid Execution¶
The domain evolves through stages:
| Stage | Description |
|---|---|
| Workspace creation | A selected opportunity becomes a Tender Workspace. |
| Planning | Bid plan, tasks, owners, deadlines, and collaboration channels are created. |
| Drafting | Proposal sections, SBD forms, briefing notes, and supporting artefacts are prepared. |
| Coordination | Pricing workbook, BOQ references, compliance evidence, and organization evidence are coordinated. |
| Approval | Approval workflows ensure accountable review before submission. |
| Submission support | Electronic submission requests or manual submission packs are prepared and validated. |
| Outcome learning | Bid outcome, loss feedback, and lessons learned are captured. |

Intelligence Partnership¶
Intelligence may generate drafts, summaries, task suggestions, risk notes, pricing coordination prompts, and recommendation support. Bid owns workspace state, proposal artefacts, approvals, and submission records.
AI output must be reviewable, explainable, and tied to bid artefacts. Human approval remains required for final submission decisions.
Future Evolution¶
Future evolution may include:
- Bid workspace templates by tender type.
- AI-assisted proposal drafting and section review.
- SBD form automation with review controls.
- Pricing and BOQ coordination workflows.
- Approval workflow automation.
- Submission pack validation.
- Outcome-based learning loops.
- Bid performance analytics.
